Who: Draco Malfoy and Luna Lovegood
Where: The fireplace at Draco's office and the editor's office at The Quibbler
Summary: Draco has a surprising proposition for Luna (what is it with propositions these days?)
Draco glanced at the clock on the wall across from his desk in his private office in Diagon Alley as he sauntered in from his lunch break. It was currently 12:59 and Draco smiled in satisfaction at his own punctuality. He was never one to be tardy.
Shedding off his cloak and chucking it aside, he strolled towards the fireplace and squatted down so that his head was in level with the burning flames of the fire. He paused for a few brief moments as he mentally ran through the speech he was going to make to Loony Lovegood, the editor of the popular tabloid The Quibbler. He hoped the meeting with Loony would fare considerably well, so that a repeat would not be necessary. Since Pansy was due to start work the next day, he couldn’t afford to make any more flame conversations with Miss Lovegood at the office, lest his plans be overheard by her alert ears. Using the fire at Grimmauld would be even worse, what with that Potter hanging around, especially since the former Gryffindor was to be his newest investor.
With a determined look, Draco reached over and grabbed a fistful of Floo Powder in the hanging pot before throwing it into the grate and sticking his head into the furious flames. “Editor’s office at The Quibbler!” he shouted as his head begin to spin like a whirlwind.
